Invest In Excellence Interactive is the IIE team’s first foray into an interactive blog. We intend to use this site as one method of staying in touch with IEA members and staff about the IEA’s fight for fair funding for all Illinois public schools and higher education institutions – the Invest In Excellence initiative. Others outside the organization are welcome to view it, but our main goal is to create an evolving place where IEA activists and the IIE team can share ideas, brainstorm openly, communicate in a timely manner and learn from each other in an informal online setting. It’s an experiment that we’ll use and revise as necessary.
We encourage everyone in the IEA family to visit and use this site. If you have ideas to share, we encourage you to share them. Send them to one of the team members or to invest@ieanea.org and we’ll post them. If you care to comment on other posts on this site, please do so.
In other words, it isn’t “interactive” unless we all work to make it so. This place is an experiment in learning and sharing. It’s not just for the IIE team’s one-way use. It’s for all of us.
